My Name is Rick Spruill (AKA) Elvis Tribute Artist. I started singing Elvis songs at a very young age. When I was ten my father bought me a guitar for Christmas in the hopes that one day I would develop into some sort of country music star. I played in a country band and tried to sing a few country songs that I liked but I just could not get into it.
Once I saw and heard Elvis perform I was mesmerized but that upbeat wonderful old time Rock and Roll and just could not get enough of it. In my youth I was just to shy to get on stage and perform and until about six or seven years ago I still was to shy.
Then I met a lady that loved Elvis and she heard me sing, (I have had the sideburns since I could grow them as a teenager), Linda got me involved in the Kareoke scene and I won a few contest and slowly overcome my shyness. I entered an Elvis contest at The Elvis Festival in VA. Beach and placed third in voice and first in the look-a-like contest. When I sang at the contest the audience was electrifying and it electrified me. I never before let myself go in public like that but that day the audience loved my Elvis songs and clapped and stomped and yelled so loud that I just couldn’t help myself.
After the contest I met a lot of other Elvis Tribute Artist and joined a local club called The touched by Elvis Fan Club. This club has a lot of members and most of the local professional Elvis Tribute Artist were members. I sang a few times at the club meetings and the members of the club along with my girlfriend Linda prodded me into singing professional. I got the bug and I started enjoying performing Elvis shows so much that I went out and bought some professional suits and have been performing by word of mouth.
I perform professionally now at the Elvis Festivals as well as Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Clubs, Conventions and Hotels up and down the Virginia Beach and North Carolina shores. I have also performed at The Virginia Beach Pavillion Two years in a row at the Senior Expo as well as a convention in New Jersey. I had a lot of fun in Las Vegas when a main act saw me in the crowd and asked me to perform. The crowd loved it so much that it enthused me even more to continue performing. I have won several Elvis Look-a-like and singing contest both on the amateur level as well as the Professional level. I get so much pleasure watching other folks get pleasure from my Tribute Shows. So if you are interested in the 70’s style Las Vegas type show with the scarves or just a few songs at your party I think we offer enough variety to please all.
Please do not call if your people do not want to have fun . Folks my shows are not the cheepest in town and they are not the highest but you will get a true Tribute Artist that looks, moves and sings a lot like Elvis. If you are looking for just a cheep imitator I am not your show but if you want a quality performance then call me and lets have a GREAT ROCK and ROLL TIME!!!

Dear Rick,
We want to thank you so much for entertaining at our mom's 80th birthday party at Seatack Rec. Center on June 11th. It was a total sucess and well worth the money. Your performance was excellent and very professional. Every one there enjoyed it and are still talking about how much they enjoyed the show. We are all looking forward to seeing you at the Elvis Festival at the oceanfront this week-end. Again thank you.
